Fort Myers Strengthens UK and Ireland Trade Ties in 2026

Fort Myers, Florida’s Gulf Coast destination encompassing the vibrant city of Fort Myers and the renowned islands of Sanibel and Captiva, has trained 418 travel agents across the UK and Ireland so far in 2026, as the destination continues to strengthen its engagement with the travel trade through a programme of training, webinars and industry events. The destination has worked with a range of travel trade partners this year, including Visit USA, Hablo, British Airways and US Airtours. Through these partnerships, Fort Myers has maintained a strong presence across the UK and Ireland this year, providing agents with the destination knowledge and product information needed to confidently recommend Fort Myers to their customers.
