LaPorte Products Adds Sunbrella To Fabric Lineup

North Charleston,United States - April 13, 2022 /PressCable/ —

North Charleston, SC, April 2022: LaPorte Products has been manufacturing marine accessories for almost every reputable boat brand on the market for over 45 years. Their flagship product, the T-Top Boat Cover, known for its durability and premier protectiveness, is easy to install, lightweight, and most importantly, custom-made. For customers purchasing one of LaPorte’s T-Top Covers, they can choose from a couple of fabric options when ordering. In recent weeks, the company added Sunbrella as a fabric option to their current fabric offerings.

Since the company’s conception, LaPorte has always offered 100% solution-dyed polyester in both 8 oz and 9 oz material for its covers, with 9 oz being a heavier, longer-lasting material than the 8 oz. LaPorte has had many requests for Sunbrella covers over the years, and wanted to give that option to their customers, thus came Sunbrella. The new Sunbrella fabric is also 100% solution-dyed but is acrylic rather than polyester.

Sunbrella T-Top boat covers will be available for boats under 32 feet upon launch and will be available in three fade-resistant colors: black, smoke, and marine blue. The company hopes to offer additional colors in the future.

Sunbrella is known by many people for its outdoor upholstery and umbrellas. Sunbrella provides ultimate UV protection, fade resistance, mold and mildew resistance, and cleanability. The Skin Cancer Foundation has also recommended the fabric as part of a complete sun protection regimen for producing sun-induced skin damage.

“We’re very excited to roll out this new fabric option to our customers. We know people will love Sunbrella as much as we do and the added color options,” said owner Darren LaPorte.

LaPorte Products has crafted quality marine accessories for the past 45 years and looks forward to expanding their offerings in years to come. Quality, innovation, and perseverance are just a few of the company’s core values that they stand behind. In addition, the company takes much pride and value in their relationships with its customers and looks forward to seeing how customers enjoy the Sunbrella material.
