Play Wild was named winner of the Tillywig Top Fun Award 2018 beating out 200 other competitors to take home top honors. Tillywig presented the award to Play Wild via an online ceremony. Details about the award winning product can be found on the company website at https://www.playwildusa.com/products/40-saucer-tree-swing.

Potential award recipients were nominated by customers in order to be in contention for the 2018 Tillywig Top Fun Award. The Play Wild Tree Swing was judged in a strict side by side comparison against numerous other quality products vying for the award. Some of the criteria for the prestigious award included the ability to engage children in creative outdoor play for an extended period of time, and features providing fun and engagement for a range of age groups. Ross MacDonald, CEO of Play Wild was very pleased about the company’s performance, saying:

“Play Wild has worked extremely hard to bring products to market which encourage children to step away from their screens and devices and re-engage with nature and outdoor play. It is very exciting for us to see these efforts acknowledged and the Play Wild saucer swing having such a positive impact on kids’ motivation to choose active and outdoor pursuits.”

Statistics indicate American children are becoming more and more disconnected from nature and the outdoors leading to a raft of health and emotional problems.

Mr MacDonald says, “…many American pediatricians are now having to prescribe outdoor play for their patients. As parents we can help our children by providing access to fun activities outdoors. At Play Wild, we are particularly excited about the benefits of swings for outdoor play as the movement fills the sensory needs for many kids. Many of our customers who have kids with disabilities are finding the movement very beneficial too, particularly those with autism.”

Additionally he notes that the company is focused on bringing more complimentary products to market over the coming 24 months expanding the range significantly. Potential customers can purchase Play Wild products on the company website however, the award winning saucer tree swing is also available at Amazon.com
