Vietnamese Government Offers Tanzanian Travelers The Ability To Get A Visa To Vietnam Via Visa On Arrival

The Vietnamese government has made it easier for Tanzanian citizens to get Vietnam visa thanks to the launch of an online visa system known as Vietnam visa on arrival.

October 13, 2017 / / —

Back in 2000, the Vietnamese Immigration Authorities - Ministry of Public Security formally authorized and released a brand new type of visa for foreign tourists who come to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for various reasons such as taking a trip, doing business, or visiting relatives, etc. This solution is a legitimate administrative procedure which performs an important part in developing the worldwide integration pattern between Vietnam and numerous countries all over the world.

This latest visa system lets inhabitants from other regions legally register online for a Vietnam visa application quickly from their area or anywhere else with an Internet connection without having to drive to the Vietnam Embassy. Although the process of applying for a Vietnam VOA is quite simple, Tanzanian passport holders still need to meet these regular requirements if they want to get a Vietnam visa via the Internet:

• Visa on arrival is used for traveling by jet, and applicants only have their visa when they appear at Vietnam international airports.
• The origin passport of applicants must have a legitimacy of more than six months from the travel date, not the date of making the application.

Tanzanian residents can find a 3rd party such as Greenvisa.io to help them complete the procedure and avoid losing their valuable time. Tanzanians are required to fill in their personal details in the application form first and then make a payment for the service. https://greenvisa.io/ website allows all kinds of major bank cards, including Paypal. Visitors will have to wait for two days or just merely four hours to obtain an Approval Letter sent through their email in case they want to get a Vietnam visa in a short time period. Before getting on the plane, tourists need to print the PDF file of all papers and carry two standard-sized images for the following step at the arrival airport in Vietnam. After long hours on the jet, passengers then have to show all relevant items to the officer of the Immigration Department at the Vietnam international airport and pay some cash for the stamping fee. People will get their hands on their visa after hearing the officer call out their name. This final step normally takes about 15 minutes.

In order to ensure Tanzanian passport holders acquire a visa to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam before taking a trip and avoid being rejected at the Vietnam international airport, Tanzanians can also decide to get a Vietnam visa at the Embassy of Vietnam in Tanzania. Regardless of which Vietnam Embassy the applicants submit their visa application in, all requirements are the same at each embassy. Visitors have to carry their passport with them throughout the entire process. People can send their application directly to the embassy or by post. The Embassy of Vietnam will need five business days to process the visa for travelers and in some cases, ask Tanzanian inhabitants to travel more than once if there is any problem. Though this way of getting visa lasts several days and demands the presence of applicants; it makes sure visitors certainly own their Vietnam visa before coming to the Vietnam and more importantly, less trouble at the airfields.

Apr 25, 2018

NORRISTOWN, Pa. — The jury in Bill Cosby's sexual assault case began deliberating Wednesday in the first big celebrity trial of the #MeToo era, weighing charges he drugged and molested a woman at his suburban Philadelphia home 14 years ago. The panel of seven men and five women got the case after receiving final legal instructions from the judge. Deliberations got underway after a marathon day of closing arguments Tuesday that portrayed the comedian both as a calculating predator who is finally being brought to justice and the victim of a multimillion-dollar frame-up by a "pathological liar." Cosby gave a...

College basketball panels: Ban cheats, let players go pro

Apr 25, 2018

INDIANAPOLIS — The Commission on College Basketball sharply directed the NCAA to take control of the sport, calling for sweeping reforms to separate pro and college tracks, permit players to return to school after going undrafted by the NBA and ban cheating coaches for life. The independent commission, led by former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, released a detailed 60-page report Wednesday, seven months after the group was formed by the NCAA in response to a federal corruption investigation that rocked college basketball. Ten people, including some assistant coaches, have been charged in a bribery and kickback scheme , and...

Martha Stewart's studio props up for auction

Apr 25, 2018

BEVERLY, Mass. — The pots and pans that once appeared on home decor and food expert Martha Stewart's television shows may soon find a place in someone's home. The Salem News reports that Beverly, Massachusetts, auction house Kaminski Auctions is selling about 5,000 of Stewart's former studio props. Her friend, Vincent Manzo, says about 90 percent of the items were personally picked by Stewart, who in 2004 was sentenced to five months in prison on charges that included obstruction of justice related to a personal stock sale. Items of note include an antique toboggan used in a Christmas special, signed...

Review: McAdams, Weisz give searing turns in 'Disobedience'

Apr 25, 2018

"Disobedience " is a slow-burn drama that reveals its true self patiently to the audience. From director Sebastián Lelio ("A Fantastic Woman") and based on Naomi Alderman's book, the film is a measured and sometime tedious character study set in a small Orthodox Jewish community in North London about a woman coming home after years away. It's a film that seems at first to be about one thing, but it transforms into something quite different and the journey is a compelling one. The audience entry point to this insular community is Ronit Krushka (Rachel Weisz), a cool New York photographer...
